Newgreen Supply Food/Industry Grade Maltose Amylase Powder

Product Describtion:
Maltogenic Amylase is a highly active amylase that can specifically hydrolyze the α-1,4-glycosidic bonds in starch molecules to produce maltose as the main product. Maltogenic Amylase is a highly active amylase that can specifically hydrolyze the α-1,4-glycosidic bonds in starch molecules to produce maltose as the main product. Maltogenic amylase with an enzyme activity of ≥1,000,000 u/g is an ultra-high activity enzyme preparation, usually produced by fermentation of microorganisms (such as Bacillus subtilis, Aspergillus, etc.), and is made into powder or liquid form through extraction, purification and concentration processes. Its ultra-high enzyme activity gives it significant advantages in industrial applications, such as reducing enzyme dosage, improving reaction efficiency and reducing production costs.

Function:
Efficient Catalytic Starch Hydrolysis: It specifically acts on the α-1,4-glycosidic bonds in starch molecules to produce maltose as the main product, while producing a small amount of glucose and oligosaccharides. It is suitable for the production of syrups that require a high maltose content.
Temperature Resistance And Stability: It maintains high activity within a medium temperature range (50-60°C). Some enzymes produced by engineered strains can withstand higher temperatures (such as 70°C), which is suitable for high-temperature industrial processes.
pH Adaptability: It exhibits optimal activity under weakly acidic to neutral conditions (pH 5.0-6.5).
Synergistic Effect: It can be used in conjunction with other amylases (such as α-amylase and pullulanase) to increase starch conversion and optimize the final product composition.
Environmental Protection: As a biocatalyst, it replaces traditional chemical hydrolysis processes and reduces chemical waste emissions.
Application:
1.Food Industry
●Syrup production: used to make high maltose syrup (maltose content ≥ 70%), widely used in candies, beverages and baked goods.
●Functional food: produce prebiotic ingredients such as oligomaltose to improve intestinal health.
●Alcoholic beverages: in beer and liquor brewing, assist saccharification process and improve fermentation efficiency.
2.Biofuel
●Used in bioethanol production, efficiently convert starch raw materials (such as corn and cassava) into fermentable sugars to increase ethanol yield.
3.Feed Industry
●As an additive, decompose anti-nutritional factors (such as starch) in feed, improve animal absorption rate of carbohydrates, and promote growth.
4.Medicine And Health Products
●Used in compound digestive enzyme preparations (such as compound pancreatic enzyme powder) to treat indigestion or pancreatic insufficiency.
●In functional drug carriers, assist in the preparation of sustained-release drugs.
5.Environmental Protection And Industrial Biotechnology
●Treat industrial wastewater containing starch and degrade pollutants into recyclable sugars.
●Prepare porous starch as a functional adsorption carrier for use in medicine, cosmetics and other fields.
